Teaching & Mentorship

I regularly go beyond my formal role to support students across multiple career stages. Key areas of contribution include:

University Teaching

Seminar instructor and guest lecturer at QMUL, leading sessions on experimental methods, statistics and computing for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Doctoral Training

Course leader for the QMUL doctoral computing programme, tutor at the STFC HEP Summer School and organiser of ATLAS UK workshops, supporting PhD students through advanced tutorials and skills development.

Research Mentorship

Mentor of PhD students, principal investigator for a SEPnet-funded undergraduate research project on EFT+PDF fits at QMUL.

Outreach & Public Engagement

I actively contribute to outreach initiatives that promote inclusion and accessibility in physics. In recognition of this work, I received the SEPnet Public Engagement Award and was featured in Womanthology. Highlights include:

Soapbox Science, London 2024

Schools Outreach

Design and deliver hands-on activities and talks for school students, including LEGO-based workshops, summer-school sessions and work-experience placements, to support early STEM engagement.

Widening Participation

Speaker for programmes supporting students from under-represented backgrounds (e.g. Queen Mary Futures, Girls Into Physics), highlighting pathways into particle physics and addressing the gender gap in STEM.

Public Engagement

Contribute to public-facing events (e.g. CERN International Masterclass, Soapbox Science) by making particle physics accessible and engaging for non-specialist audiences.
